GRADUATING TO THE NEXT LEVEL

 By Kathy B. Pegram

I want to use my column this month to wish my eldest son, Andrew Stephen Pegram, and my youngest son, Travis Scott Pegram, both congratulations on their recent graduations.

Drew just graduated from Ministry School at Victory World School Of Ministry on May 19th. He is pursuing a ministry in children's pastoral ministry. In addition to his schooling at Victory World, he also has spent two years internship at another church, as well as being senior Children's pastor at another church for one-year. Along with his recent graduation from Victory World School of Ministry, he also just turned 21 years of age on May 26th! We sure do have a lot to praise the Lord for as you can see!

Travis just graduated High School on May 18th from Praise Academy Home School. After spending thirteen-years of schooling under my leadership, it is hard to believe that he is officially through with his schooling under my care and is now ready to move on to the next level. Travis will soon be going forward into Aviation School, where he wants to become a commercial pilot. I would continue teaching him myself in this area, but since I have only flown a grand total of eight times in my life, I am not sure I would be his best possible teacher. In addition to all this that Travis is celebrating, he also will turn 18 years-old on June 6th!

In closing, as all of you can see, I have a lot that is facing me as a Mother during this time. Please remember me in your prayers that God would not only strengthen me, but would also help me be courageous as I still think about what these two fine young men standing before me today, used to look like only a short time ago it seems..........

This is my oldest baby - DREW!

and this is my youngest baby - Travis!

If there are any Moms out there reading this who feel what I feel at this point in my life, I will pray for you as you pray for me!

Love You In Christ!
