WHAT DOES REVIVAL MEAN?
It doesn't mean a set number of services, or a protracted meeting with a guest speaker.
It doesn't mean people gathering around the altars and shouting for a little while.
It doesn't mean a play on our emotions.
It doesn't mean feeling good and hearing good sermons.
It doesn't mean more manifestations and falling down on the floor. (While there may be that in any true move of the Spirit. Just study revival history and it will prove that.)
NO! Revival Means change!
It is when God comes down among His people and changes our hearts, our minds, our attitudes, our everything.
It is when He makes us see ourselves for who we really are....sinners saved by grace in need of a Savior.
It is when we die to ourselves and crucify the flesh and turn from our wicked ways.
It is when sinners run to God for mercy.
It is when the church is revived and stirred back into a state where God can use her.
It is when the saints quit being comfortable and cry out for more of God.
It is when the church quits straddling the fence and holding onto the world and turns her face back to Jesus.
It is when hidden sins are gotten out and more of Jesus is poured in.
It is when the church concentrates on Jesus more than they do the emotions and the manifestations.
REVIVAL MEANS CHANGE!
Let us cry out unto God in these last days for a true soul-stirring, heart-changing move of His Spirit that will change our society, change our nation, change our churches and change our lives! Then, we will win the harvest, and then, we will usher in the coming of our Messiah to take us home.
